About Me
I have been involved with Alaskan Malamutes for 15 yrs.
4 yrs ago I purchased my first show dog and have to say it can be difficult! but learning new things all the time.
I think the thing I like most about them is they are quiet!! they can be quite alot of fun..... as they have a sense of humor

About Me
We got our first malamute in 1976, and have had them as members of our family ever since, mostly in pairs. We love to sled with them, either as a two-dog team, or as two "one-dog teams", when I take out friends on the second sled to enjoy our local back country in the winter. Of course, there's the pleasure of the fire in the fireplace afterwards, and for "them", a favorite chewy toy in front of the fire. To love winter, there is much to be said for having "sled pets" ! |

About Me
I have 6 Alaskan Malamutes at the moment. I have just completed a ROM in Obedience for my foundation bitch. I do all kinds of things with my dogs, I am involved with AKC, UKC, and ASCA. All of my dogs have an Obedience titles that allows me to do all kinds of people things with them, such as sledding demos, as my dogs also have sledding, backpacking, and weight pull titles, along with weight pull championships. I am out with them constantly. |

About Me
I have owned malamutes for 19 years and my dogs are first and foremost my pets and companions. I show my own dogs which have done very well in conformation showing, including a BIS winner. Having only produced 3 litters in that time, I breed only to help improve the breed and to keep something for myself. My dogs are all around malamutes participating in backpacking, sledding, weight pulling, therapy dogs, and agility. I am a member of AMCA, Springfield KC, YAMC, and Empire AMC. I also volunteer for AMRONE, Alaskan Malamute Rescue of New England. |

About Me
I was raised in a dog show family. My parents have been breeding Alaskan Malamutes for over 35 years. I got involved in showing our dogs when I was 10 years old, and have continued since. Our family has garnered many wins at National and regional specialties as well as my father winning Best of Breed several times at Westminster Kennel Club, and numerous Best In Show wins. I also breed and show Schipperkes, but still enjoy showing our Alaskan Malamutes |

About Me
My husband Paul and I have been involved with Alaskan Malamutes since 1974 and have been actively showing and breeding on a limited basis under the kennel name of Greenbrier. We currently have 9 adult malamtues ranging in age from 1 yr to nearly 14. We are rather "old school" and don't have a fancy website promoting our dogs or accomplishments. We don't believe in selling puppies through the internet and never having personal contact with potential owners. We like to meet the people, have then visit our home and visit with our dogs so there are no surprises on either side. We have been very fortunate to place all our puppies in permanent homes and have been honored by the return owners who come back years later to purchase another puppy after their first dog they got from us has died. In my opinion, that is the best referral any breeder can obtain. I am Vice President of the Alaskan Malamute Club of America, Inc. and my husband is a full time professional dog show handler. We only do a breeding with the intention of keeping a puppy of desirable pedigree to continue on our genetic line. |

About Me
I currently have eight malamutes and am a member of this group of other malamute lovers. Malamutes are the ultimate companion dog and I have had at least one as a member of my family since 1975. I do limited breeding and when I do it is primarily for self and not to sell puppies. Temperament is primary and I have my mentors, Ruth and Paul to thank for sharing one of their boys with me and get me into the show ring. I love sledding with my dogs and have a group of young ones who will hopefully be getting their sled titles this winter.. crossing fingers for snow! |
